SAVE OUR STREETS NO CUTS IN CLEANSING SERVICES
PROTEST
GEORGE SQUARE
29th October 2015
12.30pm
Govanhill residents cannot stand back and allow any cuts to the cleansing services such as a decrease in the frequency of street cleaning, bulk uplift and rubbish collection. The population of Govanhill has doubled within a decade from 8,000 to more than 16,000 and local residents witness on a daily basis filthy sanitary conditions that have not been seen anywhere in Glasgow and the rest of Scotland since the slum clearances of the sixties and seventies.
Let’s Save Govanhill campaigners will be there in George Square on Thursday 29th October at 12.30pm to demand no budget cuts that will impact on cleansing services in our neighbourhood and we urge you to join us.
The only solution you have is to get rid of Sturgeon. She gallivants round Scotland by chopper for her Stugeonburg Rallies, takes limos to go next door, has large opulent dinners for friends where they’re served by her FOOTMEN, but the people of Govanhill live in squalor?
Vote her out and put in someone who WILL fight your corner.
