Police are appealing for witnesses after a 30 year-old woman was seriously sexually assaulted near Queens Drive in the south side of Glasgow on Thursday 6 August 2015.

Around 2105 hours on Thursday evening, police were called to a report of a 30 year-old woman being sexually assaulted in a lane behind Queens Drive in Glasgow.

Detective Inspector Frank Clarke of Police Scotland’s Greater Glasgow Division said today:

“Police enquiries are ongoing into this incident and officers are following a positive line of enquiry at this time.

“This is a very busy area, and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist our investigation to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively CRIMESTOPPERS can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
